Documentation
Definition
If you select this field, you are required to verify the source storage bin by scanning it or keying it in manually.
Various forms of entry are allowed. Based on your entry, the system determines the source storage bin in the warehouse master. It then checks whether the material is removed from the correct storage bin (that is, the storage bin proposed by the system).
You specify the type of verification in the verification field of the warehouse master.
Example
In a bulk storage area, although the warehouse worker can pick a pallet from the topmost compartment of a stack using conveyance equipment, he cannot reach this storage bin to scan it. In this case, you can assign the verification value stack number to all storage bins of this stack in the warehouse master, convert it into a bar code and apply it to the stack at a height where the worker can easily reach it.
If this value is scanned when a pick order is processed, the system can check whether the corresponding material has actually been picked from the stack proposed by the system.
