Use

When entering credit card numbers, please take into account the following:

  • The credit card number has a maximum of 21 characters and comprises the credit card company code and the actual credit card number.
  • The first two characters identify the credit card company.
    The following credit card company codes are currently used:
    • AX American Express Company
    • DC Diners Club International
    • EC Euro Card
    • TP UATP card company (e.g. Lufthansa Air Plus)
    • VI Visa International
  • The other 19 characters indicate the actual credit card number.

Please note:
The system currently has no function for checking credit card numbers.
You must therefore check your own entries for accuracy.
