Definition

You can adjust or enhance SAP object types to suit your own requirements.

To do this, create a new object type as a subtype of the object type to be adjusted. You can add methods, attributes and events to this object type and redefine and change existing methods and attributes.

To activate object types changed in this way in your environment, enter the changed object type as a delegation type. (To define this choose "Settings" -> "Delegation" in the Business Object Builder). The definition of the delegation type will be accessed every time the object type is accessed.
