Definition
The end time is the time of the first statistics record that is available again after a pause (longer than the check interval), minus a second, or the timestamp of the last statistics record before a pause (longer than the check interval).
Use
If no statistics records are available for a period that is longer than the check interval, the collector marks the statistics for this period as unavailable. However, you cannot assume that missing statistics records mean that the component was not available. There can be various, critical and non-critical reasons for missing statistics, such as:
- There are no requests to the component
- Statistics collection is deactivated
- The file system has become full
You can configure the check interval for each component type using the statistics control (Control -> Distributed Statistics -> Statistics to Be Created). The default interval is 15 minutes.
Dependencies
To avoid misinterpretations, you should first check whether the statistics can be read using the CCMS agent.
