Definition
Numerical key used internally in the SAP Retail Store component for indicating different documents (purchase orders, shipping units, and so on) that are used - that is, created or processed - in the applications of this component.
Use
By entering a key value, you can define a default value for document identification specifically for the SAP Retail Store goods receipt application in the Customizing schema maintained in Customizing. This default value is then superimposed in the dropdown list when you call the goods receipt initial screen.
