Definition

Determines how planned orders you have already dispatched in previous planning runs are dealt with in Sequencing.

  • If you select the repeated automatic dispatching option, the system redispatches all planned orders every time you access the sequence schedule.
  • If you do not select the repeated automatic dispatching option, the system does not change the planned orders that lie between the start of the period of examination and the current planning period. The system also does not dispatch any planned orders that were newly created in this period.

Use

  • Do not set this indicator if you want to fix the order sequence of planned orders in the current planning period as they may already be on the production line. Otherwise, in Sequencing, the system redispatches planned orders which you have already partially backflushed on the basis of the quantity still open. Note that the system may not dispatch newly created planned orders up to the current planning period.
  • Set this indicator if you want the system to redispatch all planned orders every time you access the sequence schedule. This may be necessary if the operative time is changed at short notice in the current planning period, for example, or, if you have created a new planned order in the short-term.
