Definition
You can use this indicator to limit selection of schedule lines due for delivery when
- Delivery due date and/or
- Planned goods issue date and/or
- Route schedule
does not fall within selection range.
Background:
When processing the delivery list, there may be selection criteria at the schedule line level of the documents due for delivery (goods issue date, route schedule or wave pick, for instance).
In document-oriented processing (list type = index list in list profile with a delivery creation profile that contains the setting "Deliver selected items = space", similar to delivery list processing up to Release 4.5B, VL04), if one item contains a schedule line that is to be delivered that matches the selection criteria at item and schedule line level, the entire document is delivered.
In item- or schedule line-oriented processing, you can prevent display of schedule lines that do not meet schedule line criteria. Specifically, these schedule lines are then not included when the system calculates the proposal of the quantity to be delivered (see Rules for calculation of the delivery quantity proposal).
Along those lines, please note that quantity calculation using the preceding document, for example, deals with the oldest schedule line, even if it was not selected.
We recommend allowing limiting at schedule line level only under certain circumstances and then only if you have a good reason for doing so. A better option would be to use an ALV selection filter as you process the delivery list manually.
