Information for Pension Holder
This indicator must be set for the pension holder if a minimum pension is not granted according to section 14 paragraph 4 BeamtVG (Public Sector Pensions Act) due to long periods of release from work.
This rule also applies to surviving dependent's pension; for this reason, this indicator is read from the master record of the pension holder for surviving dependents.
Information for Widow/er
If you set this indicator for a widow/er, the numerator/denominator reduction is to be applied to the widow's pension or maintenance payment after the increase to the minimum surviving dependent's pension. In this case, the minimum pension for the widow/er is not reached.
If this indicator is set for a pension holder (minimum pension not granted) but not for the widow/er (increase to minimum surviving dependent's pension after possible reduction), the indicator for the pension holder applies and a reduced widow's pension is no longer increased to the minimum surviving dependent's pension.
