Definition
Identifies a flight trip, together with a travel agency number.
A flight trip is a binding agreement between a travel agency and a customer.
A flight trip consists of an outbound flight and an optional return flight. Each of these flights refers to a flight connection offered by the travel agency. A flight trip can be arranged for more than one person.

Travel agency 113, trip number 4711: Customer 1868; outbound: connection 27 (TXL - JFK) on December 10, 2000; no return flight; First Class; 2 adults; price 9720 DEM; booked; passenger 1: Mr David Smith; passenger 2: Mrs Anna Smith

This data element is used in the flight data model for demonstration and training purposes only. It is not intended for use in other applications.
Dependencies
When a flight trip is finalized, the travel agency books the flights that make up the flight trip, for the respective airlines.
