Definition
Indicates which type of recipe planning is to be carried out.
There are three recipe types:
- Recipe type 1:
The recipe price or recipe quantity refers to the planning quantity of the statistical key figure in the recipe causation type field, and which is planned for the (activity-independent or activity-dependent) object currently used. The system multiplies the number of statistical key figures on the cost center or cost center/activity type (per specific period) by the recipe price or recipe quantity. All the corresponding costs are fixed.
- Recipe type 2:
The recipe price or recipe quantity refers to the planning quantity of the statistical key figure in the recipe causation type field and which you have planned for the corresponding activity-independent object. When planning for a cost center/activity type, the system uses the planning quantity for the statistical key figure that you planned directly on the cost center.
For activity-independent objects, recipe type 2 functions in exactly the same way as recipe type 1.
For activity-dependent costs, the activity-independent value of the key figure is used, not the activity-dependent value.
- Recipe type 3:
The recipe price or recipe quantity refers to the planned activity quantity that is planned for the current, activity-dependent object.
Recipe type 3 can be used only for activity-dependent objects.
All the costs calculated under recipe type 3 are variable.
If, in manual planning, you change the activity quantity or the statistical key figure, the system automatically adjusts the costs.
