Definition
All the essential functions required for executing reports are availbale for users who do not have the expert mode activated. Special functions that experience has shown to be used by only a few users, or that require special Report Writer knowledge, can only be used in expert mode.
You can activate or deactivate the expert mode at any time from the selection screen or report display. The expert mode is not linked to any authorization profile.
The following additional functions are available in expert mode:
- Extended functions on the selection screen (such as output parameters, variation, extract parameters, select reports, currency translation)
- More functions in report output, such as:
- Save report
- Layout settings
- Threshold value
- Save settings
- Export report
- Call business graphics
- Currency translation
- At the confirmation prompt when exiting the report you have the functions 'Save report' and 'Save settings' in the expert mode
