Definition
The Business Information Warehouse gives every object a status, that shows whether the object is currently executable, or useable.
More specifically, the following 4 statuses exist, from which 'ACT' and 'PRO' indicate, that the object is executable/useable:
- 'ACT' = active, executable. An object with this status can be executed or used.
- 'PRO' = productive. This status is one step further from 'active' but is currently not yet in use.
- 'INA' = inactive. The object is not executable/useable. This is so if, for example,
- the object was first created and saved, but has not yet been activated
- the object first has to be revised after changing another one.
- 'OFF' = switched off. The object is not useable, it was deliberately switched off, for example, so as not to appear in the list of useable objects.
