Use

You can specify that a characteristic is a Universal Unique Identifier (UUID). This is required to extract business objects.

Dependencies

If a characteristic is defined as a UUID, the following restrictions apply:

• The length is fixed at 32
• The output length is fixed at 36
• The characteristic must not be compounded
• The conversion routine cannot be changed.
