Documentation
Definition
This parameter is the maximum number of rules that, with reference to a significance measure to be chosen, are to possess the greatest possible value. Only the top X rules are included in the results set of the affinity analysis.
Use
This parameter controls the number of rules that are to be provided by way of the affinity analysis. These rules support you in your business decisions.
Dependencies
- The parameters minimum confidence and Top X Rules are evaluated by the system independently of each other. Only those rules are supplied that exceed the minimum confidence and that are within the top X set of the chosen significance measure.
- The maximum number of top X items specified in the configuration cannot be exceeded in any analysis run that refers to the corresponding configuration (for each combination of the rule keys). Therefore, it serves globally as a runtime-limiting and memory-consumption-limiting setting.
