Definition
Specifies that you want to use the main
proportion unit as well as the base unit of measure and the alternative unit of measure.
Functionality
If no special batch is assigned, the system uses the plan value to convert to the proportion unit. If, however, a batch is assigned in the requirement or in the replenishment element, the system converts the quantities according to the actual value of the batch.
Note
Only the proportion unit of measure defined in the material master record as the main proportion under "Additional data -> Proportion/product Un" is taken into consideration.
The net requirements calculation is only carried out on the basis of the base unit of measure. The proportion unit of measure is only used for information purposes.
Note: As soon as an element is staged in the pull list (green checkmark), it is no longer possible to switch to the alternative unit of measure.
