Documentation
Definition
Specifies the company code, to which the debit posting refers.
Use
The entry you make here controls which field is taken as exchange partner for account determination in automatic account posting.
In order to unambiguously identify a returnable packaging account, the system needs the following information:
- Company code
- Material number of returnable packaging
- Partner relationship consisting of location and exchange partner
- Exchange partner as a key date for checking the validity of the account.
This data is taken from the material document or previous documents such as delivery or purchase order. The plant, at which the stock posting takes place is used as the location. The exchange partner is determined by the entry you make here.
Procedure
Select which of the named partners is to be used as exchange partner in account determination.
Examples
If you post goods receipt (debit posting), the exchange partner is usually the vendor.
With a plant-to-plant stock transfer, the exchange partner is usually the plant.
Dependencies
If you select sender of goods or forwarding agent as exchange partner, but this field is not filled in the goods movement, the system takes the vendor as exchange partner.
