Definition

In periodic roll-up for distributed Profitability Analysis, the system selects CO-PA line items and sends them to the receiver system.

If the option "Distribution" has been selected for characteristics, those characteristics are rolled up to the receiver system.

The system summarizes over characteristics for which the option "Summarization" has been selected.

Examples

In a local system you want to analyze data at the customer and product levels. However, only analyses at the customer group and product group levels are required in the central system.

In this case you would check the option "Summarization" for the characteristics "Customer" and "Product" in the local system.
