Definition

Attendances and absences are grouped for counting in order to determine how many payroll days and hours should be counted for an attendance or absence. The grouping allows you to define the following for attendance and absence types:

1. Payroll days and hours, for example, for public holidays and Sundays
2. Quota-specific features

The system determines whether a day counts as a leave day, the rate of payment for the day, and the quota from which it should be deducted.
