Definition
Name of an output device in the SAP system (device definition) which the user uses to select an output devise
Use
Maintaining the name
Enter any name to identify an output device in the SAP System. If you have several printers, they should be named according to naming convention. This makes selecting a printer in the spool administration easier.
Processing a spool request
Enter the SAP name of the output device you want to execute your output request. Display a list of available printers and other devices with Possible entries. You can set a default name with System -> User defaults -> Own data.
Selecting spool requests
Enter the SAP name of an output device to display the spool requests to be executed by this device. You can select amongst the available devices with Possible entries. Generic entries are not supported.
