Documentation
Definition
Specifies the number of the day within a month on which the stamp tax payment is due. The rules for the determination of stamp tax due dates are defined by law in Portugal.
Use
You can enter a value that is relevant for the stamp tax type and is defined by law.
A value (other than zero) defines a day in the month that follows the month in which the stamp tax was incurred. The entered value is the day of the due date on which you need to pay the stamp tax.
If you do not enter any value (or you enter 0), the system considers the contract start date as the due date.
Note: 0 (zero) is the default system setting.
Dependencies
The due date depends on the stamp tax type.
Example
The following due dates are defined by law in Portugal:
Stamp Tax Type Description Due Date
A Acquisition 0
L Lease - Basic 20
I Lease - Rent Increase 20
N Lease - NULA Rent Adjustment 20
If the tax was incurred in January, a due date of 20 means that the stamp tax payment is due on February 20.
