Definition

Key of the Report schema that is the basis for the message.

Use

In Plant Maintenance and Customer Service, the reporting schema is defaulted in the message if

  • a message was created without a reference object or
  • the reference object to be entered (Equipment oder Functional locatz) does not contain a reporting schema.

Example

Supplementary Documentation - RBNRA 0001

Use

The system basically attempts to provide the most detailed catalog profile possible for the PM notification. The following hierarchy is valid here:

  • A relatively global catalog profile usually applies for the notification type.
  • If you enter a functional location for which a catalog profile is defined, this catalog profile replaces that of the PM notification.
  • If you enter an equipment for which a catalog profile is defined, this catalog profile replaces that of the functional location.

However, the replacement can only take place if the settings for the catalog profile in Customizing allow it to be replaced.
The less specific catalog profile is then displayed as a default.

The field for the current catalog profile always displays the catalog profile valid at the time of creating or changing or displaying the PM notification.

Procedure

If you do not want the current catalog profile to continue to be valid for the PM notification, you can copy either the catalog profile entered in the field Default catalog profile or an individual catalog profile.

Use

Procedure

If you create a notification and do not want to copy the PM catalog, enter an individual maintenance catalog that is defined in the system. Then press the function key to copy the individual maintenance catalog.

If you are changing the PM notification for the first time and want neither the current nor the default maintenance catalog as the basis for the notification, enter an individual maintenance catalog which is defined in the system. Then press the function key to copy the individual maintenance catalog. This is then displayed as the current maintenance catalog.

If you change the PM notification again, this field remains empty and ready for input. If you want to allocate another individual maintenance catalog, enter its key in this field and press the function key to copy it.

Examples

Dependencies

Supplementary Documentation - RBNRV 0001

Use

The system tries to display the maintenance catalogs that have been previously determined for this PM notification. This shows you which more or less detailed maintenance catalog has already been defined for the objects involved.

Procedure

Examples

If you entered the equipment number and if both the equipment and its functional location have a matinenance catalog defined for them, then the equipment maintenance catalog is the current one and the functional location maintenance catalog the default one.

If you entered the number of a piece of equipment for which no maintenance catalog has been defined, but where its allocated functional location has a maintenance catalog, then the maintenance catalog of the functional location is the current one and that of the PM notification the default catalog.

If you enter the number of a functional location for which a maintenance catalog has been defined and to which an equipment with a maintenance catalog is allocated, then the maintenance catalog of the functional location is the current one and that of the equipment the default one.

If you do not enter any reference object, the default maintentance catalog of the PM notification is both the current and the default catalog.
