Definition
In the assembly backflsuh, you can backflush a finished product or an assembly. You can use this type of backflush in make-to-stock production, make-to-order production and also in production by lots.
Use
The assembly backflush links the following activities:
- Posting of goods receipts for finished products
- Posting of goods issues for components
- Reduction of the planned orders or run schedule quantities
- Posting of the production costs to the product cost collector
- Updating statistics such as the goods receipt statistics or the material consumption statistics, for example.
You can post excess component consumption or component scrap using the function post with correction in the assembly backflush or separately in the component or activity posting.
