Documentation
Definition
Specifies that all selected worklist entries (change pointers for condition changes) should be deleted after processing.
Use
You can set this indicator for programs used to adjust documents after condition changes, for example, when you adjust purchasing documents or generate the pricing worklist.
Dependencies
You can restrict the selection of worklist entries by entering a validity interval for the conditions on which the change pointers are based. During processing, the system recognizes change pointers for conditions where the validity falls partly or wholly in this validity interval.
If the system should delete the entire worklist during processing, in other words including the change pointers that were not recognized during processing, you must set the "Delete Worklist Completely" indicator.
When you set this indicator, make sure that if you are also restricting the documents that you do not adjust all documents that are actually affected by the selected change pointers. It is not usually possible to adjust worklist entries after deletion.
Example
Often, change pointers should not be considered during processing that belong to conditions that fall in the future.
Assume today's date is 01.01.2004. You enter that the conditions, on which the change pointers are based, have a validity from 01.01.2004 through 06.30.2004. A change pointer for a condition that is valid from 07.01.2004 through 12.31.9999 is neither considered by the system, nor is it deleted.
