Definition
Use
In this field, you define the accuracy (number of decimal places), to which the value is calculated.
Dependencies
Example
Supplementary Documentation - QSTELLEN 0001
Use
For each characteristic in the certificate profile, you can specify the number of decimal places the quantitative values will have when they are printed out on the certificate.
The number of decimal places specified in the characteristic master record will be displayed as a default value.
Procedure
Enter the desired number of decimal places.
Note
If an entry is not made (blanks), it will be interpreted as a zero.
If you do not want to determine the number of decimal places for the output at this stage, enter 98 or 99 in this field. For both values, the number of decimal places will be taken from the current characteristic data. In addition, if you input 98, the decimal places from input processing will be considered for values from inspections.
Example
You have defined a quantitative characteristic but, instead of specifying the number of decimal places in the master inspection characteristic, you specified it in the inspection plan.
If you want to print the certificate with the same number of decimal places as defined in the respective inspections, enter 99 in this field.
