QQTOUT indicates whether the optimizer timed out.
Note
QQTOUT = Y means that the process of chosing the best method to execute a statement took longer than the time restriction for the optimizer allowed.
One reason for such a timeout is that there are too many indexes defined over a table (during opimization each available index is checked for applicability and the cost of using the index is compared to the cost of the current best access method).
