Documentation
Definition
Maximum share of nonconforming units in percent or maximum number of defects per one hundred units that is regarded as acceptable, in conjunction with the sampling inspection.
Use
This AQL value is necessary for the sample determination from the inspection lot, in order to find the corresponding sampling instruction in the sampling scheme.
An individual sampling procedure is required for each AQL value in the sampling scheme.
Procedure
You must enter an AQL value in the sampling procedure only if a sampling scheme is assigned. The sampling scheme has the AQL value as the principal criterion for a table with sampling instructions, in addition to the inspection severities.
You can use the possible entries help to access a list of AQL values that are available in the assigned sampling scheme.
