Definition
The order category determines the technical characteristics of an order.
An order type must be assigned to an order category. One order category can have more than one order type.
Description
Orders can be used in the R/3 System for a number of different purposes. The structure and function of an order, and the transaction used to process an order, all depend on the order category.
