Definition

Using miles/kilometers cumulation, you can scale flat rates for travel costs according to the distance traveled by an employee within a certain time period (cumulation period). Three cumulation procedures are available. They differ in the way that Travel Accounting determines the cumulation periods.

You decide here:

  1. Whether you want to use miles/kilometers cumulation
    • If not, choose No cumulation.
  2. Whether you want to use one cumulation procedure for all vehicle types and classes
    • If you want to use just one cumulation procedure that is valid for all vehicle types and classes, choose Same cumulation procedure for all vehicle types and classes.
Enter the relevant cumulation procedure also.
  3. Whether you want to use different cumulation procedures depending on vehicle type and class.
    • If you want to use different cumulation procedures depending on vehicle type and class, or if cumulation should only be performed for certain combinations of vehicle type and class, choose Cumulation procedure depends on vehicle type and class. Also, in the IMG activity Assign cumulation procedure to vehicle type/ class (view V_T706F1), maintain the relevant cumulation procedure for the combinations of vehicle type and class for which cumulation is to take place.

Note

The settings made here influence field control in maintenance dialog for infotype 0017. If 'cumulation according to period parameter' is not to apply here, the 'Period parameter' field in infotype 0017 is suppressed. The same is true of the 'Start data for yearly cumulation' field if 'yearly cumulation with employee-specific period beginning' is not to be used.
