Documentation
Definition
Number of calendar days for each accrual period up to which an absence is not to cause the generated quota entitlement to be reduced.
Only the absence days above this value contribute to the reduction.
Use
You can use this field in the following scenarios:
- You want only absences as of x calendar days to lead to the quota entitlement being reduced.
This enables you to map a rule according to which, in the case of an absence of more than 21 calendar days, for example, only the days after 21 days contribute to the reduction.
To represent this scenario, enter 021 in the MinDays field and 000 in the MaxDays field. If an employee is absent for 23 calendar days, only 2 of the days contribute to the reduction of the entitlements. - You want absences to contribute to a reduction only within a particular timespan.
This means that you can represent a rule according to which an absence is not to contribute to a deduction before 3 days or after 21 days of absence.
To represent this situation, enter 003 in the MinDays field and 021 in the MaxDays field. If an employee is then absent for 25 calendar days, this setting means that 18 of the days contribute to a reduction of the quota entitlements.
The system interprets the value in the MinDays above x, and the value in the MaxDays field less than or equal to x.
