Definition
Specifies that when you create a new activity, it is assigned to one of the networks assigned to the WBS element. The system determines the networks that have been assigned to the WBS element only from the network headers.
If this indicator is not set, a list of all the networks that have been assigned (via network header and otherwise) to the WBS element is displayed from which you can select a network.
Dependencies
The indicator takes effect, if the key for network assignment has been set to For WBS element in the project profile, or if in structure planning/project planning board the indicator Networks to WBS elementshas been set by choosing Settings -> Options.
The system proceeds as follows when you create a new activity for a WBS element:
- If no network has been assigned to the WBS element, a new network is generated. This also happens, if activities from other networks have been assigned to the WBS element by moving activities from other networks.
- If several network headers have been assigned to the WBS element, only these are presented for selection.
