Definition

If you set this indicator, hierarchy processing for interest calculation logic is automatically derived from the control data for the WBS elements.

  • If the WBS element is flagged as a billing element, interest for the orders and WBS element lower down in the hierarchy is calculated in this billing element

  • If a capital-investment profile has been maintained for this WBS element, interest is only calculated for the items capitalized to the asset under construction. No interest is calculated for orders without their own interest profiles.

  • A separate interest calculation in accordance with the interest profile takes place for objects which do not form part of the billing structure and for which no capital investment profile has been maintained.
