Definition
Stipulates that the fields which can be totaled are not aggregated per the hierarchy chosen for the display. If you do not set this indicator, the aggregated values are still shown in the object if the evaluation does not reference a hierarchy.
Note
This indicator has no effect on the formation of totals and subtotals in the evaluation without hierarchy reference - for example, using grouping characteristics.
Example
Representation in the project structure view, when the indicator is set:
WBS1 10 hours
ACT10 Work center 1 10 HR
ACT20 Work center 1 50 HR
If you do not set the indicator, the display is as follows:
WBS1 70 STD
ACT10 Work center 1 10 HR
ACT20 Work center 1 50 HR
Now choose the work center as the grouping characteristic. The aggregated value in the WBS element does not chagne. The following display results:
