The PSA is used in Kanban processing and in Warehouse Management.

The supply area is assigned to the following objects:
- Plant
- Storage Location
Goods movements occur at this storage location.
Several supply areas can be assigned to one storage location, however, one supply area cannot be assigned to several storage locations.
- Person responsible
- The person responsible is the person responsible for the additional processing of the materials and for monitoring stocks at the supply area.
