Documentation
Definition
This indicator specifies which material masters are used for the system's export control.
Please maintain the legal requirements both in the definition object as well as in the individual material masters.
If the indicator for legal requirements in the definition object has the characteristic ' ', ALL material masters in the system's export control are subject to this legal requirement by default.
This means that you need to maintain the material classification and groupings for all materials.
If the indicator for legal requirements in the definition object has the characteristic 'X', then NONE of the materials in the export control are subject to this legal requirement by default.
Each material in the material master that should be subject to a legal requirement set in this way has to be explicitly marked as relevant with the indicator. This also allows the material classification and grouping to be seen.
Example
When running the export control the system should check all materials with regard to legal requirement 'AWV'.
In this case, the indicator for legal requirement 'AWV' should be left as ' '.
Only 20 out of 10000 materials should be subject to legal requirement 'GÜG'.
Mark the indicator for legal requiremnt 'GÜG' and maintain the 20 relevant material masters individually. Do so by setting the indicator for legal requirement 'GÜG' and assigning it a material classificaiton and grouping.
The remaining 9980 material masters do not have to be maintained.
