Definition
Select this indicator to make a scheme mutually exculsive to another scheme having the same block period.
Use
If you set a scheme mutualy excusive to another scheme, then the employee cannot avail both of these schemes in the same block period.
Dependencies
You should set this indicator for both the schemes that you want to be mutualy excusive to each other.
Example
Consider that an employee is eligible for the following schemes:
- HT(Home town) with a two year block
- OT(Other than home town) with two year block
If you want the above two schemes to be mutualy excusive of each other then, you should set this indicator for both HT and OT. On doing so, the system considers these schemes to be mutually excusive to each other and does not allow an employee to avail both these schemes in the same block period.
