Select this option if you would like to perform Year End Reporting runs in test mode. By default, this option is active when you access Year End Reporting. In other words, as a safety measure, you must always de-select this option before performing any live reporting runs. Depending upon whether this option is active, one of two reporting outcomes will occur.

1. If test mode is active and you perform production runs or amendment runs, then the system will neither produce TemSe files for such runs, nor register them in the Year End Reporting History Log. In effect, test run data will be lost upon exiting Year End Reporting.
2. If test mode is inactive and you perform production runs or amendment runs, then the system will produce TemSe files for those runs and register them in the Year End Reporting History Log. You may use the"live" run data stored there to produce paper or Magnetic Media submissions of Year End forms.

Note

If test mode is active and if you print original forms, all forms printed using test run data will be clearly labeled TEST PRINT to preclude the accidental distribution of forms to employees.
