Definition
If the leave loading percentage is varying based on the entitlement or if it depends on other leave quotas, then this field is filled.
Examples
- If the leave loading percentage for recreational leave depends on an additional leave quota, then specify the additional leave quota in this field and configure it in the link table Australian Leave Loading for varying percentage (T5QPBS5B).
- If leave loading percentage for additional leave depends on the entitlement the employee has got, then specify additional leave quota here. For example, if the employee has got additional leave entitlement of less than 3 days, then the percentage is 17.5%, and if it is greater than or equal to 3 days, it is 20%. In order to handle this requirement, configure additional leave quota in this field and configure varying percentage in table T5QPBS5B.
Note
The system checks the entitlement for federal and state government differently. This is controlled by the field Loading payment control. The reason behind is that federal government pays leave loading based on entitlement of current leave loading year, for example 01.01.2000 to 31.12.2000, while state government pays leave loading based on the previous year.
