Definition

If you select this field, the system takes all exports which are relevant for declaration in the Shipper's Export Declaration into account.

Depending on the relevance for declaration, the system enters a two-digit code in the 'Special Identification Field'.

Use

At present, the following exports are recognized as relevant for declaration:

  • Export items with a value 2501 US dollars or more
  • An export license which makes declaration compulsory is assigned to the export (such as an Individual Validated License). The system does not take the country of origin and the value of the export into account.
  • In-transit exports, which leave the USA by ship. In this case, the system enters code H1 in the 'Special Identification Field'.
