Definition
This field, when set, indicates that the employee's spouse is considered a tax-paying subject.
Use
This field is relevant for employees with income category A and H and is used to determine the number of working subjects in the employee's household.
For employees with income category A, this field is also used to determine if the spouse counts as an additional dependant. A handicapped spouse with no income counts as an extra dependant.
Procedure
Set this field if the employee's household is considered to have two working subjects for tax purposes.
Examples
For the Portuguese law, a household is said to have only one working subject when one of the subjects has an income greater than 95% of the household income.
