Definition
Includes previously processed personnel records in personal calendar generation, resulting in the regeneration of personal calendars for the specified data interval.
Selection of this checkbox is relevant for processing retroactive absence changes. Retroactive absence changes occur if there are changes to absence recording before the date interval of the last personal calendar generation.
Use
You select this checkbox when personal calendars need to be updated with retrospective absence data changes.
If the checkbox is selected, the system forces the regeneration of personal calendars for previously processed personnel records within the specified data interval.
If this checkbox is not selected, the report only generates personal calendars for personnel records with a date greater than the value in the Pers. calendar from field.
Dependencies
If this checkbox is selected, it overrides the No update payroll status checkbox; this means that the infotype will be updated even if the No update payroll status checkbox is selected.
If you do not select this checkbox but run the report for a date range that includes a future date, then the Pers. calendar from field of the Payroll Status (0003) infotype is updated. This takes place even if you have selected the No update payroll status checkbox.
Example
For example, you have already generated the personal calendar for year 2010; however, you would like to generate it again (for 2010) to account for some absence changes. To account for these changes, you select the Force retroactive generation checkbox when re-running the report
