Definition
Indicates whether choices for the corresponding plan require approval before the choice can be registered.
If this checkbox is selected, then employee choices for the corresponding benefit plan do not require approval. Choices for plans that do not require approval can be directly registered and registered in batch mode.
Use
You select this checkbox if choices for the corresponding plan can be registered without approval. If a choice does not require approval, then its registration can be processed.
If the choices for the corresponding plan require approval, then you do not select this checkbox.
Dependencies
Example
A Buy Vacation plan requires approval by an employee's manager. In this case, you do not select this checkbox. This ensures that the choice of the employee is only registered after the approval is recorded.
Participation in a Life Course saving scheme does not require approval. Choices for plans that do not require approval can be directly registered (and processed in batch mode).
