Definition
A flagged indicator denotes a wage type which contains cumulated values/annual values.
The indicator has various meanings depending on the processing context:
Creation of annual bases/creation of cumulated annual gross ups
When creating annual bases, all base wage types which are to be brought together in one annual basis (wage type in the key of the view), are added up. The idicator here makes no difference.
Period basis
When checking whether a wage is available for a personnel number in the current period, the wage types, for which the cumulation indicator is flagged, are not taken into consideration.
If no period basis is available for a specified period, possible contribution refunds, or subsequent claims are suppressed. This prevents employees from receiving irregular payments in each payroll period. If an employee receives a wage payment again, or the end of the year is reached, or the employee leaves the company, the refund of the contribution or the subsequent claim is effected.
Gross-Net Iteration
When creating cumulations for the gross-net iteration (Sicht V_5CS3_ITER) the indicator is to be interpreted as follows:
- Indicator flagged: The wage type from the view key is fully cumulated into the specified base wage type.
- Indicator not flagged: The wage type from the view key is only cumulated into the specified base wage type with its monthly amount. The monthly amount is equal to the difference between the wage type of the current period and that of the previous period.
