Documentation
Definition
The employee group for the surviving dependant is reassigned to a surviving dependant (SD) type.
This reassignment is carried out by feature 'DWCHG'.
There is currently a 1:1 relationship between the employee group and the SD type.
Ex. Employee group-> Surviving dependant type
Widow Widow
Widow - recently married Widow - recently married
Orphan Orphan
Orphan - 1 parent Orphan - 1 parent
Parent Parent
It would also be possible to make an assignment using the employee subgroup and Status1, provided feature 'DWCHG' was also coded accordingly.
The possible subtypes are determined using the surviving dependant type. They are coded using feature 'DWCHT'.
Ex. Surviving dependant type -> Subtypes
Widow a) Spouse
b) Divorced spouse
Orphan - 1 parent -> a) Child
b) Step-child
The number of possible surviving dependants with the same type is defined using the subtypes from infotype 0021 for the testator. The number of dependants with the same type determines the proportional reduction of the testator pension.
