Definition
This field is relevant only for leave records (entered via the Leave entitlement infotype (0005)). It is closely related to the Personnel calculation rule and Time fields which are also used for special processing.
You must specify the personnel calculation rule to be used in processing, the time and the processing method. A leave record can be deducted from different quotas (different leave year and leave type combinations).
Use
Basically, two options are available here:
- You can handle the partial period of an absence as an entity, and make no distinction between leave year and/or leave type.
- You can split the partial period of an absence into smaller units, and distinguish between leave year and leave type.
The 'time' defines how the personnel calculation is processed. 'I' means that only the partial period of an absence in current payroll period is processed; 'B' or 'E' means that the part of the absence which is outside of the payroll period is processed.
Time 'I':
Operation indicator activated: the personnel calculation rule is processed in each period for each leave type and leave year combination.
Operation indicator not activated: the personnel calculation rule is processed only once per period.
Time 'B/E':
Operation indicator activated: The personnel calculation rule is processed once for each leave type/leave year combination (for B in the begin period, for E in the end period).
Operation indicator not activated: The personnel calculation rule is processed once for the entire absence (for B in the begin period, for E in the end period).
