Definition

An overview or detail object provides various functions which can be used by other Interface Objects in the hierarchy framework. Such a function is uniquely defined by a service. The detail object DETA, for example, provides a service Detail (General). If you call up DETA with this service and with an object, the detail object displays this object in the detail area. In addition, DETA provides a service Change Tab Page. If you call up DETA with this service and a tab page key, the detail object changes the tab page.

The services provided by an overview or detail object are defined in the table T77OBJSER.

The services of an overview or detail object are not called up directly, but you can reach all interface objects indirectly using Requests.
