Documentation
Definition
The incompletion flag determines the overall status of a document that is saved with this indicator. For example, you can save a nomination with the status complete or incomplete.
Incompletion flag
' ' = document is complete / all checks passed successfully
'I' = document is incomplete / not all following functions possible
Incomplete means, that the document failed the validity check for one or more fields within the document. Nevertheless, you can generate and save the document whereby it is marked as incomplete. The saved, incomplete document is available for certain restricted functions. For example, the Stock Projection Worksheet can use incomplete nominations, but during ticket processing the system does not post tickets for the incomplete nomination.
To process an incomplete document, you must open the document and repeat the validity checks. If the checks complete successfully, you can generate and save the document without the incompletion flag activated.
Incompletion flag
'E' = document has errors / can not be saved to database
For each single-check routine of a document, such as a nomination you can deterimine whether or not the document can be saved as incomplete. If you do not select "incompletion allowed", the system does not save the document containing the incorrect or incomplete data. The system sets the incompletion flag to "E" and displays an error message.
Please check the application log to see the reasons for incomplete or incorrect documents.
