Definition
This function allows you to extend the import period for time infotypes. This is only vaguely defined in the common infotype control function ("Infotype" view) by the three date reaction indicators. In the first field, enter the number of months by which the period should be brought forward and in the second, the number of months by which it should be extended.
Example
If the import period for the Substitutions (2003) infotype is set in accordance with the system date and extended by the value 01 in the first and second fields, the resulting period extends from the first day of the previous month to the last day of the subsequent month.

If you do not specify a period on the selection screen, you can enter the number of months for which you wish to import past infotype records in this field.
