Definition
An original batch can be assigned to an order item or purchase order item. The number of the original batch can:
- Be manually assigned (external number assignment)
- Be continuously assigned (internal number assignment, no entry)
- Be copied from the order item
- Be inherited from a component of the production order, together with the material for the original batch
In this case, the number will no longer be ready for input. But you can delete it and create a new number.
