Use this key to identify the usage of the milestone.
Use
For the usage you can specify:
- the purpose of the milestone, for example to trigger a milestone function, for earned value analysis, or to identify a project phase
- that the data of a standard milestone is copied when you create a new milestone on the milestone overview
- that milestones can be selected in the information system.

Key identifying the usage of the standard trigger point or trigger point
Use
With "usage" you can group together (standard) trigger points any way you like.
A meaningful grouping of (standard) trigger points with their usage has has the following advantages:
- You have a better overview when creating trigger points.
If you enter a usage when you are creating a trigger point, the system displays all standard trigger points with this usage.
- You can more easily recognize which functions are activated by a trigger point.
For example, group together all (standard) trigger points which activate similar functions by their usage.
