Definition
With this indicator, you activate the calculation and display of the multilevel delay in the order report.
Use
If you set this indicator, the system determines for each receipt element the number of workdays by which the receipt element is delayed in comparison with the requirement date/time of the pegged requirement in the order report. A delay always arises if dates/times of the receipt lie in the past.
The determination of the delay is carried out on a multilevel basis from bottom to top, so that the total delay across all low-level codes is shown in the order report at sales order level.
The calculation of the delay in the order report can be carried out not only for a sales order but also for a project, WSB element, production order, process order, network, and planned order.
Dependencies
- The system can calculate the multilevel delay for MRP-relevant sales orders only. Sales orders are MRP-relevant only if you have chosen the setting Requirement Planned for the requirement class in question in the No MRP field in the IMG activity Define Requirement Class in Customizing for Sales and Distribution.
- The system can only use the MRP elements of the hierarchy levels that were also read in to calculate the multilevel delay.
- Consumption-driven materials, bulk materials, pipeline materials, and co-products are not included in the calculation of the delay. They are shown separately in the order report.
